As education recruitment professionals we take vetting and safeguarding very seriously. It needs to be done right and we have developed robust processes and procedures to ensure it is, each and every time.

Our in-house Vetting Team operate completely independently of our recruitment consultants. This means they only deal with compliance issues, allowing them to be experts in their field. It also eliminates any conflicts of interest.

We don’t just do “what it takes”, we choose as best practice to go above and beyond.

Our thorough processes are constantly evolving to not only satisfy our own obligations, but to enable our clients to satisfy theirs whether under legislation or government guidance.

Our candidates are subject to the following non-exhaustive list of checks as part of our standard recruitment process:

  • Right to Work
  • DBS Disclosure
  • Children’s Barred List
  • NCTL Prohibition
  • Rehabilitation of Offenders
  • Medical Fitness
  • Qualifications
  • Employment History
  • References, including the most recent education placement
  • Overseas Qualifications and Clearance
  • ID
  • Address

Throughout the recruitment process, we will keep you fully informed regarding status and results of a candidate's vetting and screening checks. This allows you to make the decisions you need to make quickly and simply. We hold all details clearly and securely on file.

We are flexible in our approach and are happy to incorporate specific checks you may require into our own processes if required. After all, we aim not just to fulfil our client’s requirements, but to exceed them.
